REFLECTION 11 and 12 ( WEEK 11 AND 12 )

                                                           

This week is also a holiday for us due to Awal Muharram. I would like to wish my lecturer and friends to celebrate this auspicious day with their friends and family. 

Finally, week 10 was our last class. I would like to share some of my opinion throughout this semester. First of all, I would like to thank my lecturer for coming to class and teach us even though sometimes, she is not feeling well. I really appreciate her effort as a responsible lecturer. She still managed to make sure we understand what are topics all about and she gave us some class activity to make sure we do also engage without lecturer and our classmates as well. Alas, I would like thank my class members for helping me to clear out some doubts and making so feel so clear with some topic. Here I would like to post my beautiful lecturer's picture. 

On week 12, we were busy with out assignments, presentation and submission as well. We tried our level best to give the best for her. We still had some mistakes but, this is the time and place for us to learn and correct ourself whenever we are wrong. I'm really happy for studying with her and participating in her class as well. That's all from me throughout this blog. I would like to apologies if there are any grammatical or spelling error in my sentence and I would like to apologies to my lecturer and friends if I did any mistakes inside or outside of the classroom.                                                REFLECTION 10 ( WEEK 10 )

On this week, my lecturer has discovered the topic 'SAMR MODEL'. This model helps an educator to infuse technology into teaching and learning. This model is always involving Bloom's Taxonomy which is an impact for the students to come up with successful outcome as well. 

S - Substitution ( Technology act as direct tool substitute, with no functional change )

A - Augmentation ( Technology act as direct tool substitute, with functional improvement )

M - Modification ( Technology allows for significant task redesign )

R - Redefinition ( Technology allows for the creation of new tasks, previously inconceivable )

                                  REFLECTION 9 ( WEEK 9 )

On this week, madam taught me what is 'ADDIE MODEL' is all about. First of all, what is 'ADDIE MODEL'? It is a list of processes that will be instructional designers and training developers use.

From my point of view, what I understand according to the explanation my madam is :

Analysis - The designer will fulfill the needs, requirements and also identify the learner's problem, tasks and goals as well.

Design - The designer specify the learning objective of a learner and their activities and exercises.

Develop - The designer will create and develop  course materials, review and pilot session with the learner. 

Implement - The designer will train the learner to implement the plans, tools in place which should be develop.

Evaluate - The designer will identify the final result and knowledge that gain by the learner.

This is what have been taught and discussed in the classroom during the lesson time. Atleast, I managed to understand addie model is all about .

                                   REFLECTION 7 and 8 ( WEEK 7 and WEEK 8 )

Well, on week 7 we don't have any classes because most of my classmates went for internship program. 

Other than that, on week 8 also we don't have any classes as well because my madam were not around to attend the class. Yet, as a responsible lecturer she instructed us to read about 'ADDIE MODEL' .

I still couldn't understand much about this model without a proper explanation from my lecturer. Yet, I still tried my level best to read and figure out what it is all about. 

         

                                             REFLECTION 6 ( WEEK 6 )

I'm sure none of you going to understand this very well. I'm going to explain what my madam has taught us about the learning theories according to my own understanding.. 

What is behaviorism? - Certain people who follows the instructions from others without their knowledge. The don't really think of a task or job that has been given to them but, they prefer following others. 

What is cognitive? - Certain people who come up with their own idea and also a new idea in solving problems or finding solutions. This kind of people most probably tend to think alot. They prefer thinking rather than following other people. 

What is constructivism? - Certain people who create idea or things more to realistic. They prefer asking many questions which will be known as 'WH' questions to clear their doubts. Usually, they don't care about what other people say about them.

                                                 REFLECTION 5 ( WEEK 5 )

HELLO EVERYONE! This is one of my favourite week because it's 'DEEPAVALI' holiday. There is no class in this week. At the same time, I would like to wish my friends 'Happy Deepavali' to them and their family. I hope everyone have fun with their family and friends and I hope everyone take care of their food dietary as well. 

                                                    
                                    REFLECTION 4 ( WEEK 4 )


Hello everybody,I'm back once again. 

This week my lecturer has discovered about " what is our first impression when we look at out classmates''? 

The class activity that madam gave us was pasting an A4 paper in friend's back shoulder and each of them should describe about their impression towards the classmates. So, in total of 9 number of students in the classroom, we have to describe about each and everyone by writing at the back shoulder of our friends. 

The tools that need to be prepared are a piece of A4 paper , a pen and a clip. What my friend's impression towards me are:

1) Naughty

2) Childish

3) Talkative repeated for another two times from different people. 

4) Quiet girl

5) Active

6) Something special


After that, my madam has discovered a topic about '' Why viral is good and bad?'' Bad viral is also known as '' Cyber bullying'' which is becoming a famous issue nowadays. 

Why viral is good? -  It is easy to receive information about what is happening in and outside of our country. Other than that, most of them can be able to gain knowledge and students can also learn the prevention from crime. 

Now, why viral is bad? - It is easy to receive fake news and rumors also can be spread easily. Moreover, it can spoil someone's image when there is a bad news about the person and they tend to make wrong decision in their life. 



After we had a small discussion about this topic, we had another class activity which will be forming a group of 3 students in a group and create an infographic entitled 'Online rules'. 

List of what we should not post in social medias :

a) No harsh or vulgar words.

b) No flashy images.

c) No sexually abusing videos.

d) No mocking other cultures.

e) No over usage of emotions button.

                                                     REFLECTION 3 ( WEEK 3)

Hello everyone. I'm back after so long to update my blog with what I had learned this few weeks ago. In week three , I didn't attend the class because I sat for SPM retake English paper. So, I refer my friend about the topic that my madam has discovered. 

The topic that my madam has discovered was '' Learning Theories '' . “Factors Interfere with Communication of Messages in Teaching and Learning’’ which are known as :

a) Environmental - Noises in the classroom or outside of the classroom which will be inside                                  the school compound. 

b) Psychological - Cognitive skills which involve 'Higher order thinking skills' and 'Lower                                       order thinking skills'.
                            

c) Personal - Day dreaming during the lesson time and concentration of a student in the                            classroom. 

Moreover, I have found out that madam has taught some of the short - form language. The lists are:

a) 2day - Today

b) LOL - Lots of laugh

c) OMG - Oh my god

d) ILY - I love you

e) XOXO - Hugs and kisses

f) IKR - I know right 

g) BRB - Be right back

                                   REFLECTION 2 ( WEEK 2 )

1ST CLASS

Finally, I have met my lecturer and her name is Miss Farah Damia Hj Mohd Nasir. She is such a beautiful and friendly lecturer I have seen in this semester. She really looks cute and chubby from my point of view. 

  

On that day, my lecturer had given us a task to do. 

The task is about finding the educational tools that can be used in this 21st century for mathematics. We did the task on a padlet so that, we could be able to discuss the answers in the class. Here is the picture of my answer that I have answered on padlet.

   - It is known as one of the adaptive learning games that anyone can create, play and share.

- It is about creating animated videos and presentation either for teachers, lecturers or students as well.

- Youtube is one of the most website or application that everyone knows. Students and teachers can also share videos or find for videos regarding education.

2ND CLASS

On the second day, my lecturer had given us a task to identify the strategies of the students participation. She gave us a list of  strategies and everyone has to choose one.Then, do it on the padlet by using the given link. As a student, we have to identify whether the strategy has low involvement, medium involvement or high involvement. Here is the picture of my answer that I have provided during the lesson time. 

Well, I have choosen tutorials. Tutorials is known as transferring knowledge and may be used as a part of learning process. Tutorials can be given as homework or class activity to make sure each and every student participate. I have answered that it will be high involvement and I got to know that my answer incorrect when my lecturer discuss the answer. It is supposed to be medium involvement it's because students won't be putting their 100% of their effort in completing the tutorials by themselves. The students will definitely ask their friends or lecturer to answer the questions in the tutorial. So, in my point of view, I got to understand that lecturer will be providing 50% of their effort and the students will also providing 50% of their effort to complete their tutorial. From that, the students will be learning while they complete their exercises or homework.

                       REFLECTION 1 ( WEEK 1)

A very good afternoon everyone! My name is Naathiya D/O Maniraja and my nickname will be Vaishnavi@ Vaishu. I'm 20 years old. I'm studying for Bachelor of Education majoring in Mathematics and this will be my 5th semester.  

After this, I'm going to update  
whatever I have studied in class regarding Technology and Math education subject. I don't know much about my lecturer since we didn't have class on that day.Alas, why we didn't have class on the first day was because of add/drop section. So,that's all I can only say all about what happened on the week.
