REFLECTION 10 ( WEEK 10 )
On this week, my lecturer has discovered
the topic 'SAMR MODEL'. This model helps an educator to infuse technology into
teaching and learning. This model is always involving Bloom's Taxonomy which is
an impact for the students to come up with successful outcome as well.
S - Substitution ( Technology act as direct tool substitute, with no functional change )
A - Augmentation ( Technology act as direct tool substitute, with functional improvement )
M - Modification ( Technology allows for significant task redesign )
R - Redefinition ( Technology allows for the creation of new tasks, previously inconceivable )
The original diagram of SAMR MODEL.
Example of SAMR model to make sure students could be able to understand the concept easily.
Here is the pedagogy wheel ofSAMR model to use the applications according to the level of understanding of students to explain ideas or concepts in the classroom.
That's all. Thank you
